Hotel Review : Ramada Suites Kuala Lumpur City Centre

January 27, 2019

I have a confession : I am really quite fussy when it comes to hotel. To me, there are a few things that i look out for when it comes to choosing my hotel so when i was choosing my hotel for my trip over to KL, Ramada KL checked all the ticks in my checklist.

Location

It goes without saying that location of the hotel is one of the most important thing that i look out for. To me, it has to be near the city so my journey home after a day of shopping and exploring the hot spots in town would be a quick one.

Ramada KL is situated at Bukit Bintang and if you are not familiar with KL, Bukit Bintang is home to many upscale malls and luxury fashion boutiques . If shopping is not your kind of thing, you will not be disappointed with their incredible selection of restaurants and Al fresco bar for you to wine and dine in. Ramada Suites Kuala Lumpur City Centre is only a short walking distance to Pavilion (My favourite mall in KL!) and the Petronas Twin Towers is only a quick 10 minutes drive away.

The Hotel

The hotel comes with everything that you would expect from a good hotel.

My experience with the concierge is that they are always helpful and polite, ready to help you with any questions that you might have or to make your stay a better one.

There is a bar on the ground level that is oh-so-instagrammable with a great selection of food and drinks.

For all you fitness junkies, there is also a gym in the hotel that has all the equipments that you will need for a full body workout and when you are done, you can then relax and dip in the pool right beside the gym.

The Room

While i expected the room to be a little bigger than the usual hotel rooms i have been in after i did some research on Ramada KL, i was delighted when i realized that the room is even bigger than i expected. With a living room area, a small kitchen and a huge bed right beside the balcony, it felt less like a hotel room and more like a home away from home.

The bed in Ramada is also super comfortable, with just the right balance of softness and firmness. I woke up from my sleep feeling fully energised and ready to explore the city again.

With that said, i had a great experience staying in the Ramada Suites KLCC and i will definitely be back here again if i am ever in KL!
